Forty-some years ago Martin Luther King dreamed of a day when a man would be judged not on the color of his skin but on the content of his character. Once again, Barack Obama's skin color took center stage at an inauguration that featured one of the most racist statements I've ever heard.

I'm on the road this week. I watched election results in a hotel room in Flagstaff, Arizona last Tuesday. Today I'm in San Jose, leaving for Sacramento later this morning.

I don't know why I'm continually surprised at how stupid my fellow citizens are. You'd think after 49 years of observing people that I'd be immune to these feelings of frustration. Yet here we are two weeks from the 2008 election and about half of you say you're voting for Barrack Obama.

I happened to notice the date on this original warranty and EULA statement from my old Logos Bible Software Processor software is almost exactly 20 years ago today. Thought you might enjoy it. It's interesting to how similar it is to the language we still use today.

Today, as John McCain announced Sarah Palin as his running mate, the liberal media is excitedly arguing that McCain can no longer denigrate Obama's lack of experience, since he has just as little experience as Palin.
